Art is a gift meant to serve others. Through our work, we aim to encourage, uplift, and build community. Whether on the page, on your walls, or in your everyday life.

Mission
Ed Illustration exists to tell stories that matter. Through comics, prints, and apparel, we transform real experiences into art that connects, uplifts, and inspires. Our mission is to create work with authenticity, wisdom, and purpose. Inviting others into worlds built with heart and meaning.

Eduardo Burgos (b. 1988, Queens, New York) is the artist and storyteller behind Ed Illustration. His work is rooted in the belief that storytelling can shape how we see ourselves and engage with the world. He uses comics to translate the lived experience into shared narratives, processing his own history while creating stories that offer readers recognition, hope, and connection. The exchange between artist and reader is central to his work, allowing both to find moments of healing and restoration.

Burgos works primarily in black and white, drawn to the immediacy of drawing and its ability to capture thought. His comics function like the photograph albums he studied as a child, with each panel acting as a small portal into another time or memory. The size of his comics reflects his fascination with storytelling and film, and the characters he draws are inspired by the action figures he carried everywhere as a child. He uses these elements to create stories that resonate with readers and offer connection and hope.

He is fascinated by the way people rally around characters and draw strength from them. Burgos creates comics, prints, and apparel designed to move with readers, reflecting his commitment to share everything he has learned. Guided by the philosophy of “dying empty,” he passes on knowledge, skills, and experience so others can build their own futures. His work exists to serve, support, and inspire, transforming the lived experience into sequential art that can accompany people when they need it most.
